WHO WE ARE

Rising Tide Tours is a locally owned and operated eco tourism and water sports company located in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. Specializing in stand up paddle boarding (Sup) ,kayaking, and private boat charters. Our paddle services include both guided tours and short/long term rentals. All guided tours are catered to smaller groups with our belief being the lower the impact the higher the reward.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Rising Tide tours was created with the sole purpose to foster a unique brand of ecotourism through kayaking and paddle boarding (SUP) that exposes international visitors to the natural wonders of the Turks and Caicos, in the form of a profitable business that practices the principles of sustainable development.”

We only use local guides whom enjoy sharing their passion, experience, and local knowledge. We take pride in every satisfied customer that we have serviced.

Our team lives for the ocean and all of the opportunities for enjoyment and a healthy lifestyle it provides. We only use local guides who have a combined knowledge of over 20 years kayaking and paddle boarding throughout Turks and Caicos. Our guides are all Paddle Fit certified coaches and give proper in-depth paddle-technique briefings before every tour. We specialize in small groups and enforce safe sustainable practices while leaving a minimal impact on the environment, on our tours. Rising Tide Tours is the only true Locally owned and operated eco tourism company in Providenciales.

Cheno is a native of Salt Cay, Turks and Caicos islands. Born to a Turks island father and an American mother he spent most of his life in Atlanta, Georgia but frequented Turks every summer as a child. His passion for the ocean started at a very young age accompanying his grandfather and cousins on fishing and snorkeling trips. He took up permanent residency in Turks and Caicos Sept of 2006 where he has acquired many in water and out of water certifications during his time here.

As the founder and Co owner of Rising Tide Tours cheno's dream/goal is to expand the business to as much clientele as possible while still educating his guest, maintaining safe sustainable practices, taking smaller groups, and leaving as minimal of an impact on the environment as possible.

Robert is a native of Salt Cay, the smallest of the Turks and Caicos inhabited islands. Always in the water he spent most of his summers either fishing, swimming or exploring the beautiful landscape of his island home. Most of his knowledge about marine life came at a very young age. "I have had so many in water experiences as a child, and now i am fortunate enough to learn and explore our ecosystem here in the Turks and Caicos as a young adult." Robert is also well known on island as being the founder of the custom coconuts "coco vibes" that are very popular in Turks. Which cater to weddings and corporate functions all over Providenciales. Robert has partnered up with his cousin Cheno who has been a professional in the ecotourism and water sports industry, for approximately 11 years to start Rising Tide tours.

Being an experienced hotel service provider Robert aims to take what he has learned from the hotel industry and apply it to water sports. He has since learned an abundance of knowledge about the eco system here in Turks and Caicos and is currently Rising Tides head eco guide.
